Steak with aromatic cherry tomatoes

Recipe for 4 people
Ingredients
4x 250 g entrecôte steak
180 ml Brändle vita rapeseed oil
3 tbsp Café de Paris seasoning mix
Salt
Pepper
1 chili pepper
1 dash of Tabasco sauce
2 garlic cloves
2 bunches of cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 bay leaves
1 sprig of rosemary, thyme, sage
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
Preparation
- Mix together 150 ml rapeseed oil, Café de Paris seasoning, salt, pepper, chopped chili pepper, chopped garlic, and Tabasco to make a marinade, then marinate the steaks in it for at least 3 hours. Next, preheat the grill or a grill pan and grill the steaks to the desired degree of doneness.
- Heat 30 ml of rapeseed oil in a small pot, cut the cherry tomato clusters into smaller clusters with scissors, and add them to the oil. Once all the tomatoes have burst, reduce the heat and deglaze with honey and vinegar, add spices and herbs, and toss well. Cover and let sit until ready to serve.
