Focaccia with Brändle vita rapeseed oil

Recipe for 4 people

Ingredients

1/2 cube of yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tsp salt
400 ml warm water
600 g wheat flour
30 ml Brändle vita rapeseed oil
20 olives
5 mushrooms
1 ball of buffalo mozzarella
2 teaspoons oregano

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven). Mix the yeast with the sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a little warm water in a bowl. Gradually stir in 400 ml of warm water, the flour, and 30 ml of rapeseed oil until you have a smooth dough. Leave the dough to rise for 30 minutes.
  2. Generously oil a baking dish and line the bottom with parchment paper. Pour in the dough and let it rise again for 20 minutes. Then use your fingers to press indentations into the dough and add the olives and sliced mushrooms. Drizzle with canola oil and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.
  3. Slice the mozzarella, place it on the hot focaccia, and sprinkle with oregano.
