Production
Our oil mill
With our oil mill, we press sunflower seeds and rapeseed from controlled organic cultivation in the cold pressing process. With the new oil press acquired in 2021, we press over 3,000 tons of seed annually. During production, cold pressing takes place with an integrated cooling process. To remove turbidity, the cold-pressed oil is filtered after pressing and stored in stainless steel tanks until bottling. The by-product of oil production is rapeseed and sunflower cake, which is used as high-quality QS-certified animal feed.
Around our manufacturing process
In addition to our own oil pressing, other edible oils are bottled at the Empfingen site. Each delivery is checked and approved by qualified employees and quality assurance. Currently, ten filling lines are used to fill different types of containers ranging from 100 milliliters to 1,000 liters. Our stainless steel tank farm has a total volume of over 800,000 liters. From filling to labeling, packaging and storage, everything takes place under one roof.
