Brändle invests in a new warehouse and administration building

Due to the continuous increase in demand for Brändle oils, the capacity in the current company building has reached its limit in all areas. In order to ensure the future development and growth of the company, investments are now being made in a renewed expansion of the plant. The new building consists of a warehouse with an area of almost 2,500 sqm and an administration building with 1,400 sqm of office and social rooms, as well as a completely newly designed factory outlet with approx. 200 sqm of sales area. The new building is intended to make the production processes as well as the incoming and outgoing goods more efficient. The new warehouse not only significantly increases the storage capacity, but also creates space for new production facilities. In the course of the new building, the Brändle company also wants to push the issue of sustainability. For this reason, the builders have chosen wood, a renewable raw material, as the building material for both the warehouse and the administration building. The new factory outlet will also be characterized by the use of natural materials. Innovative energy supply concepts are to further increase the already high degree of self-sufficiency. The mixed oils produced during product changes will be used in a combined heat and power plant to generate electricity and heat. The photovoltaic system will also be expanded during the construction work. Overall, the company's own electricity generation from renewable sources is to be increased by a factor of 2.5. The demand for Brändle oils has recently risen sharply, especially in the context of the Corona pandemic. This is for the family business on the one hand confirmation and on the other hand motivation for the long-term development of the company. In the last 12 months, the company has invested in a new oil mill and additional storage tanks, doubling its production capacity. The cold-pressed rapeseed and sunflower oils can now be produced in 24-hour operation, 7 days a week. Now in its 6th generation, the Brändle family continues to stand behind the company and the Brändle brand. In the last two years, the next generation, Daniel Spohn, Ann-Kathrin Lamparter and Simone Lamparter, joined the company. Thus, the continuation of the family business is guaranteed in the long run.
