Avocado oil is a green-dark green oil with a mildly nutty and slightly fruity flavor. In South Africa, the oil is extracted from the flesh of the avocado by cold pressing. Hand-picked, sorted and pre-ripened avocados are used for purely mechanical processing. Slight cloudiness and sedimentation are a sign of the natural character of the oil and do not impair its quality.
